Our St. John’s United community pastors and chaplains provide residents and staff of all faiths to connect with resources that support spiritual growth, both on campus and beyond.
Our extended Spiritual Care staff is also comprised of musicians, a pastoral intern, and vigil volunteers who hold space with elders and families during times of transition. Whether it is accompaniment in the dying process, transitioning to a higher level of care, or needing any of the services St. John’s United has to offer, they provide a caring presence of support to residents, families, and staff.
The Campus Pastors also offer leadership, coordination, and assistance to persons from all faith expressions in meeting their spiritual needs by connecting them with resources from their own traditions. They also coordinate vigils, lead weekly worship, Bible studies, daily staff devotions and monthly Memorial Services for residents who have passed away the previous month. In addition, they offer counseling and make regular hospital visits to both staff and residents.
God’s healing and hopeful presence is made evident in the care and concern shared among the staff, residents, families and volunteers at St. John’s United.
