FREE CONCERT – WyndStone – Ronnie Milsap Tribute
June 20 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
FreeMusical genius transcends genre and tonight’s ensemble is no exception. Fronting tonight on keyboards is Billings native and longtime musical favorite, Tom Blankenship. Tom is no stranger to interpreting music that spans the decades from crooners like Frank Sinatra, to pop favorites like the Everly Brothers, The Beatles, and tribute to 1970’s–80’s classic country artist Ronnie Milsap. Joining Tom are Jeff Taylor, Tim Ferch and John Cooke.
Jeff began his career as a paid musician as a teenager and went on the road at age twenty. He has backed artists such as Willie and Waylon, Johnny Paycheck, Joe Diffie and too many more to name. An Ohio native, Jeff lived in Wyoming for 35 years and now calls the Bull Mountains south of Roundup his home.
Tim grew up in a musical family recording albums as “The Fiddlin’ Ferch Family” at the tender age of nine. His gift is on strings, ranging from the mandolin, string bass, guitar, and fiddle.
John Cooke, a familiar drummer from Billings who began playing gigs in 1972 and contributed to numerous bands and different types of music including Country, Classic’s and Jazz.
