John Bohlinger & Friends

Billings native John Bohlinger is a Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist/writer best know for his work in television. Bohlinger led the band for NBC’s “Nashville Star”, USA Networks “Real Country”, PBS specials including “The Outlaw Trail” and “Legends and Lyrics”, The CMT Awards, (2009 to present) as well as many others.

The consummate Nashville sideman, John has accompanied Lainey Wilson, Sheryl Crow, Lee Brice, Miranda Lambert, Joe Walsh, Little Big Town, Kasey Musgraves, Chris Young, Tanya Tucker, Hank Williams Jr, Kenny Rogers, The Beach Boys, Alabama and many others.

When not touring or in the studio, John is Premier Guitar’s on-line host for Rig Rundown and gear demos. He also writes a monthly column for PG entitled “Last Call”.

John, along with some friends from Nashville and Montana, will be playing The Saint John’s Summer Concert at Town Square on July 17th, 2025. Come listen, dance, and get wild at this is the 27th year of the Summer Concert Series.
