We are, unfortunately, hearing about COVID-19 activity in the State and County. Over the weekend 4 of our 20 units are now closed to visitation due to COVID -19.
Units closed to visitation for approximately 14 days include:
- Liggett Cottage
- Transitional Care North
- Vista
Mission Ridge is also closed for visitation at this time while we are investigating and screening residents and staff.
It is important to note: A visitor reported they tested positive last week as well. As part of the new normal, we know this will happen and hope these interruptions to visitation will be minimal. It is extremely important that everyone appreciates the guidance that we have established.
VACCINATION:
Vaccinating our community is the best method to protect yourself and others from contracting severe cases of COVID-19. Please find time to get vaccinated. You can do this at SJU’s vaccination clinic downtown by calling 406-655-5726. You can also sign up for one of the many sites available around town by going to vaccinefinder.org.
TESTING:
If you or your family are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please get tested. Our SJU Lab downtown offers quick and easy testing and you can schedule an appointment online at https://signup.com/client/invitation2/secure/122602307201/false#/invitation.
All SJU visitors may receive a free, voluntary COVID test prior to their visit. We encourage all of our visitors, vaccinated or not, to take advantage of this free service, supported by donations made to our Foundation. https://signup.com/client/invitation2/secure/122602307201/false#/invitation.
REMINDERS:
- Wear masks appropriately.
- Wash your hands before touching surfaces others have touched and before and after touching your mouth, nose or eyes.
- Keep your distance, especially when not wearing a mask.
